DDG is a 23 year old rapper and he’s an upcoming artist, he has one album (Valedictorian) and has a tape that has come out very recently. His networth is $1.5 million and he has 9.5million subscribers! He’s from Pontiac Michigan. He named his first album because he was a valedictorian in high school.
I was watching DDG when he was in high school/college because he was a famous YouTuber. DDG got in to music at a young age, his early music included a diss track about Lil Yachty which was called (Big Boat). DDG also moved to Hollywoods, California to become a full time entertainer/music. DDG has different style of flows each songs which means he does Rap, RnB
I like DDG because he was an entertainer back in the day when started to Vlog when he was at college, showing us what he did during the day, his lifestyle, pranking people, ding dong ditches. I remember when he was doing a clown prank (jumping out at people in a scary clown kit – whist being filmed). He quickly gained 1 million followers and got his big break in 2018 with the song Arguments which gained 52,442,631 views, which was certified Gold by the RIAA on April 15, 2020. He inspires me, because he has done so well from the beginning till now. I have seen him develop and grow.
Here is the reaction video to DDG’s song I need security which is on his new tape that came out recently. His new tape is called D4R which stands for Die for Respect, I think he did a very impressive second tape and it branches out to new audiences. The first day I heard the whole tape, I said “wow… this tape will give him the recognition that he deserves”.
D4R is out now on all streaming platforms, it was released on March 19, 2021 on the label Epic Records. He collaborated with OG Parker to bring the mixtape together. He has also collaborated Queen Naija on his song Hold up and has also worked with YG and Blueface on some remixes. There are rumours of an upcoming collab with Drake.
